Join us for this four week 'technique tuneup' course in advanced level fusion bellydance technique! Back due to how popular the open level and intermediate tuneups were last year, this will take it further while offering refinements to help bring your dancing to the next level. We will cover new and oldschool movements, expression and projection, crazy layers, travelling, turns and spins and explore interesting transitions, shapes and staging solo and in groups.

Previous courses sold out in advance - book now to secure your place!
Monday's  fusion bellydance class is catered for high intermediate to advanced level dancers, and is recommended for those with consistent training in fusion bellydance and a thorough grounding in the foundations of the style. The class explores more complex layering, advanced movement patterns and swift transitions alongside detailed refinement of presentation and technique.

With every class you will:

- strengthen and tone with conditioning
- learn and drill a variety of movements, isolation patterns and layers
- develop and refine strong fusion bellydance posture and technique
- explore aspects of presentation and expression

- restore body and mind with closing yoga sequence

Rachael is a wonderful, inspirational teacher. I have only been attending her classes for a few months but I feel I have learnt so much already! Each class is well structured, with sufficient time spent on warm-up and conditioning exercises that help you to develop good and safe dance techniques. The choreographies that Rachael brings to class are beautiful and are great fun to learn. They offer challenge and introduce new techniques to work on, but each movement is broken down and drilled, with a lot of helpful hints, tips and guidance from Rachael that all help you to grow and develop as a dancer. Her meticulous approach combined with her fun, warm personality make her a great teacher. No matter what level you are at, as her student, you feel encouraged and empowered to explore and learn.

In Rachael’s classes we all share our love for dance and music, positive vibes, the fear of not remembering a choreography, laughs, sweat and concentration. All with no judgement for our bodies or limits, feeling free to express ourselves, just letting the beats flow through the hips and enjoying the moment, with joy and respect. A special thanks to our phenomenal and patient teacher Rachael Redfern for your guidance and inspiration. I'm so glad to have been part of your group!
