Wed L2 Fusion Bellydance
Wednesdays intermediate fusion class is designed to build strong technique and a wide vocabulary base while learning a creative and expressive choreography each term.

A minimum of 1 year of regular training in fusion is strongly recommended, as the class requires a thorough grounding in the foundations of this style. The class takes a more challenging, swifter pace than L1 but with options and layers provided to give both brain and body a workout for all.

In these classes we refine the fundamentals of fusion posture and technique while also sinking our teeth into more challenging movements. We explore the concepts of isolations and layers, spend time working on a variety of turns and spins, and focus on the correct muscular actions required of strong, sharp fusion bellydance technique from sharp pops and locks to ooey gooey undulations.

Every term all this gets put into action in a fusion choreography built up week by week to give the opportunity to develop presentation and artistry in this style, with performance opportunities for regular attendees.

With every class you will:
- strengthen and tone with conditioning
- learn and drill a wide variety of fusion bellydance movement fundamentals, isolations, layers and sequences
- develop strong fusion bellydance posture and technique
- dance a beautiful fusion bellydance choreography
- restore body and mind with closing yoga sequence

In Rachael’s classes we all share our love for dance and music, positive vibes, the fear of not remembering a choreography, laughs, sweat and concentration. All with no judgement for our bodies or limits, feeling free to express ourselves, just letting the beats flow through the hips and enjoying the moment, with joy and respect. A special thanks to our phenomenal and patient teacher Rachael Redfern for your guidance and inspiration. I'm so glad to have been part of your group!
