ONLINE FUSION COURSE
This August I'm so excited to share a new-inspired-by-old choreography that utterly oozes elegant glam and effortless jazz cool and has been a top favourite among my in-person students. Join me live on Zoom or follow the recordings available till end of September as we delve into a Vintage Fusion piece inspired by the roaring twenties!
We'll be dancing to the addictive 1920s jazz classic 'The Boy in the Boat', marrying bellydance technique with jazz-era fancy footwork and a femme-fatale flapper attitude.
If you often feel stuck practicing never-ending isolations in place or glued to one spot when performing, this choreography is your antidote! Equally, this piece is all about relaxing on stage while nailing perfect musicality, making the insanely tricky look smooth, and the foundations look as killer as possible.
Yes, you are going to fall in love with this piece! The combinations covered are highly adaptable for all styles and ready to fit into your dance toolbox. Plenty of layering and swift movements here to keep int/adv level students engaged, but all welcome as you can continue to fine-tune from the recordings and options will be offered!
We'll be training hard and covering all bases: conditioning, technique, drills, combos, choreography, expression and stage presence.

Rachael is a wonderful, inspirational teacher. I have only been attending her classes for a few months but I feel I have learnt so much already! Each class is well structured, with sufficient time spent on warm-up and conditioning exercises that help you to develop good and safe dance techniques. The choreographies that Rachael brings to class are beautiful and are great fun to learn. They offer challenge and introduce new techniques to work on, but each movement is broken down and drilled, with a lot of helpful hints, tips and guidance from Rachael that all help you to grow and develop as a dancer. Her meticulous approach combined with her fun, warm personality make her a great teacher. No matter what level you are at, as her student, you feel encouraged and empowered to explore and learn.
