SHOW APPLICATIONS
We welcome applications to perform! Applications will be considered for both shows. All soloist/duet/trio applications must book minimum two Sat/Sun workshops each plus performer ticket for the show they will perform in. For larger groups, each performer must book minimum one 2 hr Sat/Sun workshop plus performer ticket. Submitting an application does not guarantee a performance slot, but we are doing our very best by holding two shows! To request to perform please get in touch and include a link to a past performance video.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS

WS1 SAT 10:30-12:30 Kamrah - Layering Challenge: You Want Me To Do What? £40
Challenging layers, foot patterns, super fast movements - learn Kamrah's signature approach to achieving the Hard Stuff fast - without hating yourself or your teacher - as well as his favorite drills, layers, and combos. Bring water. And a towel. And maybe an emotional support friend.

WS2 SAT 13:00-14.30 Rachael Redfern - Finger Cymbals £30
Let’s play our own instrument while we dance, exploring various techniques and patterns! Cymbals are a powerhouse of a prop that will deeply develop your musicality in relationship to your dance. Options will be provided for all levels and material will be applicable to bellydancers of all backgrounds with an emphasis on old school vocabulary and heavy hips. (If you've trained cymbals with Rachael before, expect new combos and material!)

WS3 SAT 14:45-16.45 Valenteena Ianni - Ritual Mechanics £40
Dive into the power of symbolic movements and rhythmic precision in Ritual Mechanics. This workshop is inspired by the structured beauty of ancient rites, using repetition, angular patterns, and deliberate motions to create a dance that feels both intense and captivating.
You’ll explore movements that combine strength and grace, with a focus on creating mesmerizing loops and cadences. Infuse your dance with a sense of ritualistic purpose and hypnotic quality as this workshop guides you in turning every motion into a powerful, intentional gesture—like performing a sacred dance etched in time.

WS4 SUN 10:00-12:00 Valenteena Ianni - Karma Echoes, A Combos Party £40
Valenteena will be introducing new Fusion Bellydance combinations created specifically for London Fusion Fest, which will be added to her Karma Echoes collection. These can be used as a tool in choreography, improvisation, or in any way you wish.
Valenteena's Echoes form a vocabulary of combinations, each with its own name, count, and specific technique. The goal is to bring you new inspiration in your dance.
Practicing and using these combinations over time will bring you clarity, fluidity, and a better sense of musicality in Fusion Bellydance! Ready to party?

WS5 SUN 12:30-14:30 Kamrah - Strange and Unusual £40
Do the unexpected! Fuse unusual movements – twitches, creepy isolations and undulations, and screaming fast, explosive hits with belly dance. Learn the foundations of each of these movements and how to incorporate them into your dance. Class includes strength conditioning, an explanation of the theory behind the movements, drills, and a creepy combo.

WS6 SUN 14:45-16:45 Rachael Redfern - Night Terror Choreography £50/£40
Performance track option sold out but you can still join and learn the choreography! This intermediate-advanced choreography is to the track Gece Teroru (Night Terror) by Bo. Expect a challenging but fun piece full of dark drama and captivating musicality. Expect lots of interesting layering technique and isolation sequences to chew on alongside varied shimmy vocabulary. You'll love it!
First 2 hours open to all. Last hour group rehearsal for performers only (15 min break in between). Performers will be expected to be experienced working at an intermediate/advanced level in fusion style and to prepare in advance by familiarising themselves with the online course material ahead of the workshop.
WS6 PERFORMANCE TRACK *SOLD OUT*: £70 Full 3 hours, full recorded online choreo course/breakdown videos, group chat and performer ticket for the Sunday Closing Show. Costume costs will be kept to a minimum. Online course material available to review until 5th July.
WS6 WORKSHOP+ONLINE: £50 First 2 hrs choreo workshop + full recorded online choreo course/breakdown videos. Online course material available to review until 6th July.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS

VALENTEENA IANNI (ITALY)
Based in Rome, Valenteena is well known for her stimulating and precise way of teaching and her emotional performances.
She is the creator of Karma
Echoes, a combo-based Fusion Bellydance Vocabulary and Killer Path, a training method in 4 volumes for Dancers and Teachers, as well as the organiser of The Fifth Dimension Festival in Rome.

KAMRAH (USA)
Viral TikTok star, performer, teacher, and more, Kamrah is Chicago’s first trans masculine belly dancer. He has performed fusion, American cabaret, Lebanese, and Egyptian belly dance since 2001. Noted for his creativity, isolations, and theatricality, he currently performs throughout the USA and in Europe.

RACHAEL REDFERN (UK)
Rachael is an internationally acclaimed fusion bellydancer based in London, UK. She is well-known for her distinctive dance stylisation infused with glamorous vintage aesthetics and for her bubbly energy and clear instruction as a teacher.
A full-time dancer for over five years, she has taught in over fifteen countries to date and is the proud organiser of London Fusion Fest.
